No Kill Memphis is currently asking Memphis veterinarians to join us in this cause: to turn the Memphis Animal Shelter, that is currently only saving 23.34% of its animals, into a No Kill Shleter to save 90% of its animals and more. If you are for life, you are for a No Kill Shelter.
What you are saying by helping with the No Kill Petition is simply that you want the Memphis Animal Shleter to be a No Kill Shelter because you wish to save thousands of animals' lives. No more, no less.
The Memphis veterinarians that are for a No Kill that wish to be listed on this page only have to print the petition and gather signatures. After all the vets have mailed in their petitions they will be listed here.
Over 7 out of 10 Memphians asked are for a No Kill Shelter and sign the petition. That means whatever your business, it is smart to be on the right side of this obvious life saving mission. If you are sworn to save animal's lives, then all the more.
So, the Memphis veterinarians that help us will be listed on this high profile and highly publicised page. The format of the site will eventually change to one documenting this fight and who fought the fight with us. The site will remain online and be linked from the non profit site or the list and info will be moved to that site (that will be constantly advertised for obtaining donations).
Even now search for: Memphis Vets For No Kill in a search engine.
Once the petition is done and has been turned into Memphis City Council, obviously, no vets will be able to get on this list and they will never be seen as supporing the No Kill Petition, wherever the list is placed.
I strongly encourage Memphis veterinarians to support the No Kill and help us in this manner. No Kill Memphis is just now in the begining stages of building this list and if you are a veterinarian in Memphis and you have not yet been contacted, just email info@nokillmemphis.org that you agree to help and Print this No Kill Petition and start getting it signed.
After all the petitions are gathered up all the veterinarians will be listed here, with their contact information, and with the number of signatures they gathered.
